As part of our Minibeast topic P1 & 2 used the shared reading ‘Big Spider’.
The book provided the opportunity for the children to also learn about compass points and direction. They decided upon people or things that would remind them of which direction was which, e.g. North east Santaand when North was called they had to run to the point and say “Ho, Ho, Ho!”.
