Farm Fresh Food along with its Treetop Cafe are open for business! With lots of learning opportunities for the children.
The children will have the opportunity to buy and sell fresh flowers and vegetables while they calculate prices, pay balances and calculate change using coins. They will take phone orders and make fruit baskets, sort and box up eggs according to number, size and colour. The children can make nests for small birds and chickens. They will arrange vegetables in the vegetable patch according to labels and type, plant seeds and bulbs using compost and watch them grow. They can then nip into the Treetop Cafe, nestled below a fruit tree full of ripe fruit and have a cuppa and a tray bake before heading home.
