During our STEM Day the Primary 1 & 2 children experimented with materials.
Initially they sorted some skittles according to the criteria of colour.
They then learnt that sugar dissolves in warm water and through the process of diffusion, the coloured sugar travels through the water creating beautiful rainbows. 🌈
