The children used their skills in numeracy and volume to measure cups of snow during play based learning. They also used problem solving to build bridges and safe passages for the polar animals as they crossed the chasm from iceberg to iceberg. They used construction material to build sleighs for the Inuits and ice cream tubs to make mini igloos. As always the polar expeditions station was very busy.
