P6/7 - Cooking Demonstration from LMS

We were delighted to take part in the Livestock and Meat Commission for Northern Ireland’s expanded education programme, bringing a fantastic cookery demonstration to our P6/7 class today.
A big thank you to Patricia, who engaged pupils in learning about food groups such as fats, carbohydrates and protein, while also exploring the farm-to-fork journey of local beef and lamb. The children were fully involved, confidently discussing ingredients and nutrition throughout.
The highlight was getting to taste the finished dish — with many going back for seconds and even thirds!
