P5 had a fantastic trip to the Tayto Factory tour, where we were welcomed by Mr Tayto himself! We learned all about the journey of the potato and the different processes it goes through to become everyone’s favourite crisp. There was plenty of testing along the way and we even got to try a brand new product not yet in shops - banana popcorn! Everyone was delighted to receive a multi pack of the famous Tayto Cheese and Onion to take home. The day finished with a well-earned lunch in the park and ice lollies on the way home. A great day of learning, fun and (most importantly) crisps
