On Tuesday P4, P5 and P6 took part in a workshop led by Jon. Jon introduced us to the GarageBand app in the iPads and talked through all the elements needed to create a simple song. The children learned about many musical terms used in creating music such as pitch, tempo, loops and dynamics. Children had a go at creating a single drum beat, experimenting with the instrument sounds and including layers of multiple instruments to create their own song in various genres such as Rock, Pop, Blues, etc. A great workshop and lots of fun 😁
