The development of hand strength and fine motor skills is essential in the early years. Good grip and hand strength ensures that the children will have good pencil control for letter and number formation. It’s also enables them to develop scissor skills. Our focus in P1 & 2 is always to ensure that the children feel confident when writing and using scissors accurately.
we do lots of hand strengthening activities and Dough Disco is one of the children’s favourites 🖐️👏👌🤛☝️🤌🎶.
