Digital Leaders visit the Apple Store 26/02/26

Digital Leaders enjoyed participating in two workshops at the Apple Centre, Create your own emoji and GarageBand. Using an app called Procreate, they created their own emojis, then learned how to save them as a sticker to use in messages. Using the GarageBand app, they layered different instruments starting with drums, then used mixer to make sure all the individual elements were in the right place. Panning sounds to come out on the left or right speaker, e.g. guitar or piano added an extra element to their pieces, while they learned about echo and reverb sounds. Finally they added a variety of filter effects, such as DJ decks, scratching effects onto their songs. A wonderful day facilitated by Sam and Aaron and no Digital Leaders trip would be complete without lunch at McDonalds! 😁
