As part of the P1 & 2 topic ‘People who help us’ the children arrived at school to find that their classroom was locked as a crime scene. Thankfully the police service was the focus for the week and when the children and our in-house police officers gained access to the room a police investigation was underway. This involved shared reading, writing and problem solving. This was extended by the children designing and constructing equipment to save the stranded Swiper and Harry the Husky. They also read clues and identified speech bubbles and question marks. Such a fun filled morning 😃. Well done Primary 1 & 2!
